Classically trained as a pianist but drawn to traditional folk music, Lauren is a singer / songerwriter that plays the guitar, mountain dulcimer, hammered dulcimer, banjo, fiddle, mandolin, and organ.  

On piano she has performed with the Carroll Symphony Orchestra and UWG Jazz Ensemble.  Her vocal range is rather wide and she has performed soprano, alto, and tenor parts with the UWG Concert Choir and Opera Workshop.  She was a guest performer with the UWG Wind Symphony playing banjo on George Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue.  Her folk music has taken her to play on stages from John C. Campbell Folkschool, Powers Cross Roads Festival, Sunnyside Cafe, and many private events.
